MYMESSENGER.AFRICA is an online grocery delivery service that allows you to shop for the most popular African Cooking Ingredients, Snacks, Akamu (Pap), Vegetables, Peppers, Garri, and other foods and beverages on request. Our professional personal shopping executives carefully pick your groceries and our logistics team will deliver them to you at your registered delivery address in America, UK and 27 EU countries.
Customers can shop online with MYMESSENGER.AFRICA for items such as African Vegetables, Snacks and other typical African Foods you will buy in African Food Stores in America, UK and EU countries.
Our website is user-friendly, the service is interactive and we keep customers updated at every stage of the processing of their order.
We currently deliver to all zip codes and postcodes in America, UK and the 27 EU countries.
At the point of registration or checkout, you are able to confirm your delivery address, email and contact telephone number.
We accept online payments from all major Naira denominated debit and credit cards or Nigerian Bank Transfer. We also accept online payments with International Mastercard and Visa cards denominated in US Dollars, British Pounds Sterling and the Euro. We do not offer payment on delivery.
We deliver products bought online. While most items show actual images of what will be delivered, some images may differ slightly from what is displayed on the website if NOT branded products like fruits, vegetables and other fresh produce.
All branded products have net weight written on them while vegetables and the other fresh products are sold per box and the boxes are based on one (1) kilo per box. However, you will only be billed for the actual weight purchased and the chargeable weight and the total price of items purchased will be clearly displayed at checkout point and on your invoice.
We go to great lengths to ensure we find all items in your order. This often necessitates us to check all retail outlets before concluding your order. If after checking multiple retailers, the item is still unavailable; our well-trained professional shopping executive will contact you to offer suitable replacements. You are not obliged to accept the replacements and we will only purchase them after receiving a go-ahead from you.
Replacements will typically be a different flavour to what you selected (e.g. apple juice instead of pineapple juice) OR a different brand of a similar quality item OR items with similar function to what you ordered (e.g. mint chewing gum instead of mint sweets).
Your MYMESSENGER.AFRICA wallet is your online account where you have monetary value to spend on any product. We may debit or credit your wallet for various reasons including: refunding you for an unavailable item, reconciling the difference between guide and actual price for a weighted item, promotional offers, discounts and rebates.
While we make every effort to display an accurate list of items in stock from our associated retail stores these stores are ultimately responsible for maintaining their inventory levels. In the normal course of a business day, the stores may occasionally run out of some items. We are not going to charge you for any unavailable item. If you are not satisfied with the replacement suggested, we will CREDIT the monetary value of the item to your MYMESSENGER.AFRICA wallet.
If an item you ordered is unavailable, we will continue to check for the item until it is back in stock. If, after our checks, the item remains out of stock, any credit due to you will be added to your MYMESSENGER.AFRICA Wallet or your bank account (whichever you prefer).
If we deliver an incorrect or damaged item, we will happily replace the item at no additional cost to you. For us to replace such items, you will need to notify the delivery driver at the point of delivery. Once you have taken delivery of your order, you take ownership of the items and MYMESSENGER.AFRICA will be unable to accept any returns or process any refunds.
When we receive customer orders, we often begin processing them immediately. And because we do not hold our own inventory and we only purchase from OUR ASSOCIATED RETAIL Supermarkets and Retail Outlets when customers place orders, as soon as customers pay for their orders, we start purchasing their selected products from OUR ASSOCIATED RETAIL Supermarkets and Retail Outlets. The retailers we buy from have a no-return policy so, we in turn, are unable to return any items customers purchase from us to the retailers. Thus, once an order has been placed and paid for, MYMESSENGER.AFRICA is unable to accept a cancellation of the order.
